You can use all fabric dyes for tyidyeing. One package of Viktoria Fabric Dye will be enough for one dyeing session. Before applying, dissolve the dry dye in a bowl with warm water. You can apply the dye to the fabric with help of a brush or plastic dye bottle. By preffering separate bottles for each color, you can prevent discoloration.
Depending on the technique you use, you can get help from tools such as straw rope, sticks, rubber bands and beads. These tools will prevent the dye from penetrating the fabric and will allow the patterns to appear.
There are countless methods to create patterns on sweatshirts. These are very easy and fun techniques to apply. You can create a unique pattern by folding, spiraling or randomly crumbling your fabric. After that, you can use the tools we mentioned above to give your design its final form and start dyeing.
After the dyeing process is over, you can use Fiske fabric dye stabilizer to avoid colod bleeding. A teaspoon of dishwashing detergent will also increase the color quality.
After dyeing, you can wash under the sweatshirt in a sink until the rinse water is clear and then let it dry.
